This was great. Thanks for showing such good support for our sisters who have done so much for the church and are still trying and working so hard.

I know that the Bible, well, the Bible with the interpretation of the Church not individual interpretation, has gone out of favor, but it does say that good works without faith is not meritorious. Doing "good work" is not the end-all, be-all. You can do good earthly work and influence souls straight to hell as well. That is not good. Hell is real and real bad. Eating a fish for a day is nothing compared to learning to fish for a lifetime.
Likewise, receiving a "good work" by a nun on earth is nothing compared to defying Christ and His Church and missing out on eternity. Whether you believe that can happen or not, it can, does, and the Church is so blessed and Guided to not forget the important things and to hold wayward nuns accountable.
