PERSONAL PRAYER REQUEST

  Liz Trigilio on left

My mother is having major surgery this Wednesday, Feb. 29th to treat severe spinal stenosis.

PLEASE keep her in your prayers. She has several risk factors including aortic stenosis, so the operation will be serious.

The discalced Carmelites in Erie, Poor Clares in Hanceville and Sister Servants of the Eternal Word in Irondale, AL, are all praying and I ask EVERYONE to join in.

Praying for your mother. My mother has been through surgery for the same thing and I know how painful it can be. Encourage her to move around as soon as she is able - it will help.

I will be lifting your mother in prayer, and especially so when I attend Mass tomorrow morning. What a lovely photo! Please keep us updated. You will be in my prayers as well.

Mom's surgery went well but then she developed complications. Fluid in lungs followed by bad side effect of extra strength painkillers. Needs lots of prayers and lots of rest. Neurosurgeon took piece of pelvis to treat severe disk damage. God bless all of you for your kindness and support

I will continue to pray that God's healing Graces will comfort your mother as she continues to rest in His love.

Italian mothers have incredible inner strength. She is blessed to have you looking after her at this time in her life, Father. I have been praying for you as well.

Thank you for keeping us posted.

While my Dad was 100% Sicilian my dear mother is 100% Polish (just as tough as their Italian sisters)

Mom had a few VERY ROUGH days after surgery
She is still fatigued, disoriented and in great discomfort. Too weak for regular therapy but YOUR prayers are appreciated & are helpful

Whoops...Thank you for the clarification and update on your mother's health, Father.

I can relate. I am half Italian and half Lithuanian and am very grateful for my Catholic upbringing by both parents.

How fortunate we are to know that God hears our prayers for your mom. Prayers will continue for both of you.

Praying for your mother and for you, Father John Trigilio. I hope everyone is praying for them--Father John was badly injured in an accident while visiting his beloved mother, in case anyone is unaware.

Father I recently learned of you being in a car accident & your mom's operation. I pray you are both healing through God's Great Mercy. Can someone up date Fr's progress?
